　　在結構上，48芯光纜主要分為室外和室內兩種結構類型。室外芯線有兩種:中心束管式和層絞式。一般常用層絞式，因為層絞式含芯量大，防護性能比中心束管式好。(中心束管是光纖位于光纜中心，不填充膏體，用雙鋼絲加固的結構；層絞結構是一種光纖圍繞中心增強體的結構形式。室內型以梁式結構為主(型號GJFJV)。
