Sedex是供應商道德數據交換的縮寫。Sedex是一套網絡數據庫，用于幫助公司存儲其業務范圍內的勞工代碼信息，其客戶也可以共享這些信息。如今，Sedex已經受到許多大型零售商和制造商的青睞。

　　SEDEX工廠檢查成員類型:

　　1.a級會員:適合那些希望查看和分析供應鏈中道德貿易信息和數據的組織。特別適合零售商、慈善機構和機構。(如樂購超市、馬克·斯潘塞、紅十字會、倫敦交通局)；

　　2.AB級會員:這類會員類似于A級會員，他們也希望查看和分析供應鏈中有關道德貿易的信息和數據，但他們也在Sedex上與客戶分享信息。尤其適用于供應商數量或自身工作場所數量超過5個的進口商、中間商、大型制造商和商家。(如利豐貿易公司、雀巢、百事可樂)；

　　3.B類成員:這些成員是希望輸入自己的公司信

　　Sedex certification review process:

　　1. Any individual wishing to become a member can apply online through the information exchange system. If you apply to become an A-level member, you need to submit a written application to the board of directors. The board of directors may require the applicant to provide reasonable and necessary information to determine the membership category suitable for the applicant. The board of directors will inform the applicant of its membership category as soon as reasonably practicable;

　　2. Members should not register production plants that are neither their own nor their own jurisdiction on the information exchange system. On the contrary, members are expected to encourage their suppliers to register their production sites on the information exchange system;

　　3. If a member has any doubts about the classification of its membership level, the member has the right to file a complaint with the advisory council. The member must notify the advisory board in writing of his intention to apply within 30 days after the board of directors informs him of his decision (about the applicant's membership category). Then the board of directors will inform the advisory board of the information about the application;

　　4.顧問委員會有權查看董事會在確定成員類別時所依據的所有信息。咨詢委員會在審理申請時，有權根據需要要求提供更多信息，包括要求成員提供更多信息；

　　5.咨詢委員會可就成員的成員類別向董事會提出建議。董事會在確定會員的會員類別時，應充分考慮咨詢委員會提出的建議；

　　6.咨詢委員會將在合理可行的情況下盡快嘗試該申請。

　　SEDEX認證審核條件:

　　1.認證標志可以作為產品的一部分貼在產品上，實現與產品同生命周期；

　　2.認證標志可以與產品形成強對應關系，取代不同產品之間不同認證證書的復雜對應關系；

　　3.認證標志是認證結果的性標志，認證標志本身及其附加信息在商品銷售中完全可以替代認證證書；

　　4.認證標志可以通過防偽識別技術和信息數字編碼技術建立產品的可追溯體系。

　　SEDEX認證流程包括五個部分:初始會議、文件審查、現場審查、員工面談和審查總結會議。具體流程如下:

　　1.初次會議:介紹審核的目的、時間安排和操作方法，列出所需文件，介紹現場審核和員工面談的細節，回答工廠代表的提問；

　　2.現場審核:審核員對消防設施、機械設備的維護、工作區域的通風和照明、環境保護工作等進行一系列檢查。確保上述項目符合工廠檢查的審核標準；

　　3.文件審查:審核員根據工廠檢查的要求檢查工廠的文件，主要包括員工的工資和工作時間記錄、員工信息和其他生產記錄；所有文件資料要求保存近12個月的，必須滿足近3個月的要求；

　　4.員工面試:員工面試名單是從現場和人員資料中抽取出來的，主要偏向于一些比較年輕，看起來比較老實的員工。員工面試即時進行，不允許廠方代表介入；

　　5.審核總結會:審核員發布臨時審核報告，總結工廠存在的問題和需要改進的地方，必要時可能需要跟進審核，視問題的嚴重程度而定。
