自2016年以來，國電南自已完成建設并正在實施共23個地方試點項目，包括3個500千伏試點項目、15個220千伏試點項目和5個110千伏試點項目。其中，2017年11月20日投運的山西運城220千伏夏縣成為全國首個220千伏全類型就地保護試點工程；2018年5月8日投運的浙江杭州110kV魚塘，成為全國首個全類型就地保護試點的室內GIS變電站。原位保護試點項目充分展示了國電南自在新產品研發、工程設計和現場服務方面的技術實力，項目的順利實施離不開制造、生產調試、產品驗證、項目管理、工程技術等部門的幫助和支持。

On May 12, 2018, Guodian Nanzi 500kV local protection device was successfully put into operation in Changsha Xingcheng Substation. The local protection devices of Xingcheng transformer include line protection, distributed transformer protection and distributed bus protection. The complete set of equipment and overall solution are provided by Guodian Nanzi. Xingcheng Substation is the first 500kV substation in Hunan Province to adopt in-situ protection scheme, and it is also a pilot project of 500kV full-type in-situ protection products put into operation by Guodian Nanzi.
